Come utilizzare Tsuki no Kage Chawan

To prepare matcha, sift your matcha powder into the Tsuki no Kage Chawan, add warm water, and whisk until a fine layer of light green foam appears on the surface.

    Passo 1

Place your matcha sifter over the Tsuki no Kage Chawan. Add 2 grams, or about 1 teaspoon, of matcha powder, then gently press it through the mesh so the powder falls evenly into the bottom of the bowl.

100% fatto a mano in Giappone e di provenienza etica

Handcrafted in Japan by skilled ceramic artisans, the Tsuki no Kage Chawan reflects traditional Japanese pottery techniques and the timeless role of the chawan in matcha preparation.

Realizzato con materie prime di altissima qualità

The Tsuki no Kage Chawan is made from quality feldspar, quartz, and clay sourced from the Gifu region, an area known for its rich ceramic heritage. Inspired by classic Tenmoku-style pottery, its glaze may reveal subtle natural variations, making each bowl feel unique and connected to Japanese ideas of craftsmanship, simplicity, and imperfect beauty.

Vantaggi di Tsuki no Kage Chawan

Using the Tsuki no Kage Chawan for matcha preparation offers several advantages. The taller walls help reduce splashing while whisking, the generous bowl shape gives the chasen enough room to move freely, and the clay body can help retain warmth when the bowl is preheated before use.
